The Oprheum is a theater located in California.
History[]
The real Orpheum opened on February 15, 1926, on 842 S. Broadway. It has a long history of hosting music, from jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington in the '30s to Aretha Franklin in the '60s, and is now used as a location for movies, TV shows, and music videos, including Taylor Swift's "Mean" and America's Got Talent.[1]
The fictional Orpheum is given a much more modern, almost club-like layout, with couches and tables rather than rows of amphitheater-style seating. Not much is known about its history, except that many bands played here on their way to making it big, at least according to Luke.
