Trivia[]
- The band is officially named by Flynn in The Other Side of Hollywood
- The members of Julie and the Phantoms first and last names are in alphabetic order Alex Mercer, Julie Molina, Luke Patterson and Reggie Peters.[1]
- Every member of Julie and the Phantoms last names either start with a "M" or a "P".
- The frequent occurrences of Reggie and Luke singing into the same microphone very close to each other is the idea of and encouraged by Kenny Ortega, who while filming flying solo frequently asked the actors to get closer, despite the cast pointing out they could smell each others breath and were close enough to kiss. While rewatching the scene for an interview the pair admitted they could have gotten closer as the distance seemed larger on camera hence why Ortega wanted them to get closer.
